Five Ws and an H.

This communicaton theory is neither new, nor is it original. It's the basis of Canadian Press Style. (CP) The Ws, in order are Who,What, Where, When, and How. Answer these questions, all the while keeping your target audience in mind, and you will have a solid communications strategy to work from. A tight focus on youur demographics through using coherence, cohesion, and continuity will go a long way to creating an engaging, audience-centric, strategic communications work. Remember: five Ws and an H. They won't steer you wrong.
